For if only that Church which teaches the deity Of Christ is truly Chris tian, then Of course the Christian Church teaches the deity of Christ, Or else there is no Christian Church. We are constrained there fore to take the term Christian Church simply in its conventional sense. It includes the whole body Of those who are members Of any insti tution called a Church which professes to be, not Jewish, Mohammedan, or pagan, but Christian.
