I’m an organizer and I still have a struggle twice a year to get to the closet and sort it all out. To be honest, sometimes it takes me even a few weeks to pull up the energy as well as find the time to get it done. And then once I’ve finished with the clothes I realize I’m still not finished. I have to also do the shoes, belts, etc. It’s a nightmare!!! Action Plan Here are some tips that hopefully will bring your closet back safe and sound: Set a section of time on your calendar when you can commit to doing the work. Nothing is worse than starting a large project like this and then running out of time with clothes everywhere. Start in one section of your closet and literally pull out each item and ask: Do you want to wear it next season or are you ready to give it away? If most of your clothes need to be stored, hopefully you have an extra closet, attic or basement. If you store in an attic or basement, you will need to purchase a wardrobe rack that is covered.
