9. Receiving… salvation A present salvation, testified to by the renewing Holy Spirit. It differs from that in 1 Peter 1:5 only in degree. This saves now that in the day of judgment; this saves from sin, its guilt and power that “from wrath” and hell, (Romans 5:9;) this saves the soul that saves both soul and body; this is salvation begun that is salvation finished forever. read more
