Verse 12

THE RIVER OF PEACE

‘Behold I will ertend peace to her like a river.’

The peace of God’s Church resembles a river—

I. In its source.

II. In its course.—A river is ( a) quietly progressive; ( b) exceeding deep; ( c) fertilizing and enriching; ( d) clean and cleansing.
