In this chapter,
(1,) God threatens, by his prophet, to bring general destruction upon the Jews and their idols, Ezekiel 6:1-7 .
(2,) Promises that a remnant of those in captivity should return to him by unfeigned repentance, and a thorough reformation, Ezekiel 6:8-10 .
(3,) Directs Ezekiel and his fellow-prophets to bewail, both the iniquities and the calamities of their nation, Ezekiel 6:11-14 .
