Introduction
A.M. 4062. A.D. 58.
In this chapter the apostle applies the preceding discourse in an earnest exhortation, enforced by several arguments,
(1,) To stand fast in the liberty of the gospel, 1-12.
(2,) To beware of abusing that liberty, by indulging sinful tempers, contrary to the great law of love, 13-15.
(3,) To walk in the Spirit, and not fulfil the lusts of the flesh; the nature and fruits of which two principles are represented as altogether contrary, 16-26.
