"Consider how I love Thy precepts; quicken me, O Lord, according to Thy lovingkindness."

Consider how I love Thy precepts - 'consider', word study used 3 times in this Psalm; The question is asked of us all, 'Do you love My Word?' David has no fear of this answer. Do you fear such a question asked by others? asked by God? Or are we able to say, 'Thy word was found and I did eat it' daily before Him. 'Consider' is one of those words that stop us, and should make us look and ponder the impact of our life and ways. Can someone who nevver reads the Bible be said, 'How I love Thy precepts'? Can someone who doesn't know enough Scripture to help a fly be said of them, 'How they love Thy precepts'?
Consider that one who love the Word will be in the word. One who loves the word will know the word. One who loves the word will go deeper in the word. Consider the level that you are on, or others are on in the Word. The peron that reads the Bible through for the first time, should not be expected to know the depths of the Spiritual meanings and formations. It is natural to assume that a child in the early grades of school are learning the basics, the numbers, their A, B, C's. And such is the early readers of Scripture learning the characters, the accounts of history of prophets, kings and works of God. But every time they study, they take time to know the Word, the Spirit of God breathes into them deeper truths. 'He reveals the deep and secret things of God.' And many marvel at cherished saints in their ability to glean great truths and deep truths that reveal the will and mind of God in our day.
But all that is found that sets them apart from the majoirty is that they love the Word, they devvour the Word and God meets them there. ARe you such a one that this can be said of you? Consider what people know about the Bible, but also consdier what they don't know about the Bible. This is the revealer of their true love. One who says, 'I know that' with no other desire to go deeper; their love is to be called into question. But the one that says, 'I know that, what is to be found in this passage for me, for my family, for my church, for my nation?' is one that loves the word. And again, the simple basis of loving the Word is that you love the One Who spoke the Word, gave the Word, is the Word. 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.'
The Word is one of our links to the Godhead. Consider that you love the Word because He is the Word. And so when all the evidence has been presented of you and all of it considered; is there enough to convict of being guilty of 'loving His Word'? May it be a true witness we bear of our love for the Word. Reading it daily, studying it, memorizing it and sharing it with all. Quicken me, O Lord, according to Thy lovingkindness - word study, 'quicken me' found 11 times in this Psalm; It is such a powerful prayer to me; 'quicken me, O Lord' make me alive in YOu. There is life in no other but You. You are the resurrection and the life; You the living bread and living water. Life is in You. You are the giver and sustainer of all life. So where else can I come to find life but in You? David's prayer and my petition is the same
