There are many truths in the Scriptures that are very important but one in Christian life is essential: That God uses the weak and those that trust in Him. The ways of the world are opposed this idea where only the skilled and successful are considered worthy of being used. God is exactly the opposite and enjoys using those who are weak, despised and not sure of themselves so He can bring great glory to His name.
Here is an excerpt from the soon to be released Principles Book:
Christianity in this way is quite simple, it is a work of the Spirit of God. This simplicity can offend men but God clearly states in 1 Corinthians 1 that He uses the weak, the unwise, unlearnt, and despised of this world.179 And it happened God chose 12 disciples: 2 wanted to send fire from heaven down on towns, 3 of them could not stay awake during a prayer meeting, 1 was a traitor and thief, one betrayed Christ and denied he even knew the Lord, they argued over who would be the greatest, and all of them fled away when hard times came. Yet with this group of weak, unlearnt simple men God was building His Church in which the gates of hell would not prevail. This can give us great consolation and hope to be usable in the work of the Lord for He is looking for those who are not full of themselves but rather humble, weak and needy. They are the ones that are calling out to God for His Spirit because they literally need Him in every situation.
But sadly, even the weak soon learn how to be strong, how to rely on their own experiences, successes and victories. And this becomes that dangerous place of taking the glory of these accomplishments for ourselves without giving the proper recognition and glory to God alone. God will only entrust His work with those He knows will give him the 100% glory for what is done and take not glory to themselves.180

May we be encouraged as we seek to trust in God alone and allow Him to use us in our great weakness, insecurities and failures. He will strengthen and make us a testimony for His Son Jesus Christ. The underground Church leaders in many countries are at times the weakest and most desperate that God elevated to use. And we must always stay in that place of remembering where the Lord took us from and daily be reminded of our weakness and need to trust fully in the Lord.
Be the first to react on this!

“Christianity was birthed in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and will only continue as we have this empowering from above. God is always looking for the willing vessels that will trust Him afresh for the impossible.” from: Principles for the gathering of Believers under the Headship of Jesus Christ.Since 2012, a growing group of believers in North America started to warn of coming persecution to western countries. This message was shared in a variety of ways. One of the responses to this was to compile a book taking principles from underground Churches around the world of how they thrived under pressure and persecution. The volume, Principles for the Gathering of Believers, had in a short time over 50,000 downloads in ebook format and much interest was shown. Some new house churches started through this and other existing groups were encouraged.
