Testimony

Are you glad that you are alive? Have you thanked God for life? You don't know what it means for me. I should be with Jesus. I've tried several times to go, but God doesn't want me to go yet. I had an operation after they took my kidney out, my second bout with cancer, both times I should have been gone. After three days I woke up with my blood pressure having gone up 209 over 194. They told me that people don't live with that kind of pressure. My girls threw themselves on my bed and said, "Dad you've got to live. You've got to stay and pray for your grandchildren." My youngest daughter said, "Dad, God's going to have to touch your life and restore you because marriages in our church are falling apart like leaves off the trees.
On Sunday morning they rushed me into Intensive Care. They got all the blood specialists in there. They kept pouring all this stuff into me. They'd say can you stand it Lloyd?
I can't put words on to this. This is something you can't describe. At 11 o'clock the hospital room opened up and the Lord Jesus came into my room. I had a marvelous time with the Lord. I kind of went a little bizerk. It was hallelujah and praise the Lord for 15 – 20 minutes. I had a moving of the Lord's Spirit in my life that I've never had in my life before not even in revival. God just assured me that He was going to make me well again and have a ministry for this old broken vessel.
At 20 minutes after 11 it was just like somebody had turned on the tap at the bottom of my foot and all the pressure went gone. I don't bother nurses so I learned to run my own computer myself. The thing just went haywire. . The needle was going down so fast they didn't know what happened. I called the nurses in and they wanted to get doctors. I said, "Ladies just relax. I've been visited by the Spirit of God. God has come into my room and touched my life. Unhook this thing, I'm out of here."
I had the privilege that night of sharing with about 10 nurses about the Lord Jesus. One nurse said, "Did you see the angel?" I said," Nobody is here". What a touch of God upon my life. By 3am they had the machine off and I was totally better. The doctors can't explain it, understand it, but I know God touched my life.
The next afternoon Dr. Hildebrand came trotting in he had been out for a jog for the day. When that man visits you, you sense that Jesus comes right into your room. It's just like meeting with God. He came in and he said, "Brother, I've got a little message for you. Last night at 11 o'clock the Spirit of God told me that He would touch your life and make you all better again and that God would raise you up to be a greater use for Him in this world to spread revival and to touch lives for God."
God wants us to be real. God wants us to put God first every moment of every day of your life. Never start a day without saying, "God, here I am."
First – God first; that means dealing with sin, dealing with the self life and inviting the blessed Holy Spirit in your life.
Second – Give him every area of your life. Give him your thought life, your sex-life.
Third – love your spouse. If every Christian would get right with their spouse and love each other like Christ loves us we'd have a spiritual awakening over night.
