You Have Done it unto Me

Those certainly seem to be strange words, which our Lord says he will speak on the judgment-day to the multitudes before him. We are taught elsewhere, that faith in Christ is the vital thing in determining one's eternity—yet Christ himself, in portraying the judgment, says not a word about believing... Read More

Your Little Brother

Many young people have younger brothers, little brothers sometimes, in their home. In every such case, there is a responsibility which is not always recognized. If older brothers and sisters knew the influence they have over their little brothers, it would make them very thoughtful. It is no doubt t... Read More

YOUR WILL, NOT MINE

Many people only half read their Bibles. They skim the surface, and fail to get the full, deep meaning of the golden words. They get but half-truths, and half-truths ofttimes are misleading. Even inspired sentences standing alone, do not always give the full and final word on the doctrine or the dut... Read More

By the Still Waters

A meditation on Psalm 23 It is worthy of our thought--how much poorer the world would be if the little Twenty-third Psalm had never been written. Glimpses of the Heavenly Life

Heaven's gates never open outward. Countless multitudes enter them, to look upon the glories within--but none come back to report to us what they have seen. We often wish we might look upon the beauty of the heavenly home to see what it is--but our wish cannot be granted. Only a thin veil separates ... Read More
