In the crooked music industry, many truly talented people never make it and end up as back up singers (many at times for lead artists that they are more talented than) throughout their careers. So is the world we live in, the best person doesn't always make it. 
Take for example my favorite songs from this series (Have Mercy Upon Me) the singer is Gene Miller but have never will never seen his name on the Billboard 200, this despite the fact that his voice is better sounding than 99% of the male artists that I hear on a daily basis.

Scripture Memory Songs - In Spirit And In Truth (John 4:23-24)

My favorite song from the album (the best in the series) and one of my absolute most favorite songs from the Scripture Memory Songs Series as a matter of fact, from the whole Integrity Music label. 
Her voice was built perfectly for this song and you can be ushered into God's presence by meditating on the words of this song. 
This song serves as a perfect example of the balance between Vocals and Instrumentals. 
This is the best Scripture Memory Songs album, unlike many other albums from the series it doesn't have many subpar or rushed songs, every song on this album is solid on it's own merit, something I can't say about many other Scripture Memory Songs albums. 
Nevertheless Forgiveness is still my favorite because of the quality of the good songs on there, it is one of the best from the series. Too bad I can't call it best because of the few subpar songs on there. 
This is the 3rd album from the series and it was released in 1992 as the introductory image indicates.

The two writers of this song are the ones who wrote the song "Ancient of Days" which was popularized worldwide by Ron Kenoly. 
They wrote this song the same year that that iconic album was released (Ancient of days was actually written the year before [although it was copyrighted in 1992] but then recorded and released a year later on "Lift Him Up") 
John Barbour sings this, he is the one you see in the video. I like the instrumental intro to this song. 
Like i said before, this album was a disappointment compared to other Scripture Memory Songs albums such as the best "Spiritual Warfare" and my absolute favorite "Forgiveness", now that's what I cll memorable music.

The 2nd of the 3 songs that I love on this album, the first being Not Under Law, this and then Now Is The Day Of Salvation 
The writer of this song Chris Christensen if I remember correctly wrote a song in 1988 titled "The Earth Shakes" which was used a decade later in 2000 on Don Moen's "Mercy Seat" album. 
I remember playing that album (even though it wasn't my favorite Christian album even at that time, it happened to be in the house so I thought "why not!!"). 
I remember seeing the mouse and Integrity.com or IntegrityAsia.com website in the cd insert, crazy how that iconic Christian company has been recently sold. At least the sales prevented it from going down. 
Along with the sale of the company goes the ability to order some out of print cds such as this series and others in the Hosanna! series. 
Integrity and Maranatha!, your music isn't selling because you guys don't produce real Praise and Worship like you did in the 90s with Ron Kenoly, Don Moen and others, too bad. 
You are listening to the very first album from the Scripture Memory Songs Series. 
This series will span 26 albums and will run for 3 years (1992-1994) not including Rick Riso's "A Man of His Word" 
which only had one new song (actually a re-recording of a previously recorded song by another Artist titled "I Will Give You The Keys", I have posted that song already)

I wish I could sing like this, I could, I just have to practice or go to a professional to be trained as a vocalist, I would love to scream and hold a note without a scratch in my voice like he does. 
Oh yeah, the Scripture Memory Songs, this album was produced by Mr. Steven V Taylor, most of the Scripture Memorys songs were produced by Mr. Mark Gasboro. 
That said, I like this album, even though it is not my albsolute favorite Scripture Memory Song album (that honor belongs to Forgiveness which was released close to the very end of the series, this one was released close to the the middle of the series) Nevertheless it is one of my favorite and best Scripture Memory Songs album. The singing and vocals are well done. 
Mr. Steven Taylor also produced the Scripture Meomry Songs For Youth Choir album titled "Speak To One Another" which was released after the series ended("Everlasting Hope" was the last album). I will post a few songs from that particular album later. 
That album also has one of my favorite songs on there named "It Is Good To Give Thanks" written by Gary Sadler who also wrote my favorite song as of this period in my life named "Have Mercy Upon Me" from the Forgiveness album. 
King David wrote down these words about 3000 years ago, nice to hear it being sung 3000 years later!!.

I wish I could sing like this, I could, I just have to practice or go to a professional to be trained as a vocalist, I would love to scream and hold a note without a scratch in my voice like he does.
Oh yeah, the Scripture Memory Songs, this album was produced by Mr. Steven V Taylor, most of the Scripture Memorys songs were produced by Mr. Mark Gasboro. 
That said, I like this album, even though it is not my albsolute favorite Scripture Memory Song album (that honor belongs to Forgiveness which was released close to the very end of the series, this one was released close to the the middle of the series) Nevertheless it is one of my favorite and best Scripture Memory Songs album. The singing and vocals are well done.
Mr. Steven Taylor also produced the Scripture Meomry Songs For Youth Choir album titled "Speak To One Another" which was released after the series ended("Everlasting Hope" was the last album). I will post a few songs from that particular album later.

The first and best song from this album along with "By His Wounds" which is the last song from the album. 
After listening to "Spiritual Warfare" which was 2 albums before this and then to Forgiveness which was released 2 years later in 1994, this was honestly a disappointment compared to those 2 solid albums. 
The 4 songs I like the most are this song, "By His Wounds", "I Will Not Be Shaken" and "He Heals The Brokenhearted", HE definitely does, CHRIST does

Scripture Memory Songs - A Joyful Heart (Proverbs 17:22, 18:24)

These words were uttered by the Being known in the Old Testament known as the "Angel Of The Lord" who is actually the 
2nd member of the Trinity. The other two Divine Beings who showed up or were mentioned in the Old Testament were "Jehovah God" and the "Spirit of Jehovah" 
However the Being known as the "Angel of the Lord" never showed up again in the New Testament. 
However take note that both God and the Spirit of God show up in the New Testament but not the "Angel of God". 
That's because that being was incarnated as Jesus. Amazing. 
Angel means Messenger, He is THE Messenger of God but is also GOD 
"He is the same being that also said in Isaiah "I, even I Am the Lord and besides me there is no SAVIOUR" 
Did you Take note of the SAVIOUR and the SALVATION part below. 
"Jesus" == "Joshua" == "Yehoushua" which means "JEHOVAH IS SALVATION" 
Coincidentally, HE(Angel of the Lord) appeared to Joshua in the Old Testament, in the New Testament that Divine Being will go by the SAME NAME. 
I will post the Scripture memory Song where they use that verse "I Even I am The Lord...." in the "Hope Of Heaven" CD later.

Released at the very end of the series, it's actually the 3rd to the last album. 
Denny Correll passed away a few years ago of a heart attack, his other songs include the popular "I Will Be WIth You" from Maranatha's "Hallelujah/16 Songs of Joyful Boasting" album. Others include "O, Lord Come" and "We Have Overcome" all written by Bill Batstone and done in similar styles.
