Quint shares his journey of moving from Maryland to Louisville in 2022 due to his father's job, which led him to join Southeast. Initially angry and resistant to the move, he gradually found purpose and connection through serving and building relationships at Southeast. Over time, he came to understand the importance of his role in the church's mission and realized that even young people can make a significant impact in spreading Jesus' love and changing the world.

Can One Move Change Everything?

We believe in a God who transforms even the most unlikely hearts. Saul was a powerful leader who saw Christians as a threat—hunting them down, approving their deaths. Yet, in one radical moment, God intervened. The man who sought to destroy the church became one of its greatest advocates, writing over half of the New Testament. 
 
Our prayer is that this story reminds us that no one is beyond God’s reach. May it move us to a bold faith that believes in His power to change lives in ways we never imagined.

Would You Even Notice?

Stephen's powerful sermon recounts the numerous times God moved among His people throughout history. Even facing opposition, both Stephen's words and his life remained faithful to the end. As we look at our own church's history and the wider movements of God, we've been invited to recognize and respond to God's activity around us. Throughout this history, God's moves have often been accompanied by the generous moves of His people- giving everything, even their very lives for the Gospel. From Abraham's willingness to give up his homeland to the Israelites' generous contributions for the tabernacle, to Stephen’s very life, God's movements have inspired generous responses. God has moved, and we celebrate it. God still moves, and we recognize it. And make no mistake about it... After many hardships, including losing his mother, Dre went down a path of poor choices and repeated jail time. While a part of the SE Recovery program, he was mentored and has been transformed by a relationship with Jesus. He is now a key volunteer for ARC Sunday services and helps with Encounter groups at multiple campuses!
