When was the last time that you were in church?  If you haven't been in worship in recent memory, it can be difficult at times to go back.  God's people were brought tears when they heard God's Law publicly read in Jerusalem for the first time in 150 years.

Changing water to blood may not be as fun as making a few hundred gallons of wine at a wedding, but the miracle we know as the first plague of Egypt was a powerful miracle of judgment on Pharaoh and his unbelieving nation.  What can and can we not say about this event as we apply it to our lives?  How can we see this as a miracle of redemption for God's Old Testament people?  Watch and find out.

Veteran's Day is a great time to honor those who serve to protect our nation.  Freedom isn't free.  That's a well known truth to Christians.  It is also true of every America.  This Sunday we'll take the opportunity to thank our God for the freedoms we enjoy and honor those who have served and fought to preserve those freedoms.  Please take a moment to thank a veteran for his or her service to our nation.  If you are able, join us on November 11 as we worship our God and celebrate our service men and women.  In this event we also recognize fire and police who are our public servants and first responders in an emergency.

Of all the details that surround the end of the world, which is the most important?  Is it the natural disasters that may destroy the world?  Is it the dead rising from their graves at the trumpet sound?  Is it standing before your creator who see all of your life - the good and the bad - like an open book? Why do we believe the Bible to be God's word?  It is because the consensus of the worlds scholars says that it's God's word?  No we believe because God's word says that it is truth and the Spirit convinces us of that truth.  Today we will look at taking a stand on the truth.  Our example is Moses and Pharaoh.

The meeting with God and his people at Sinai after they left Egypt was unique in so many ways.  God's people actually agreed to obey their God.  They sealed the covenant with blood.  God was good with this, and showed that he was good with this by enjoying a fellowship meal with the leaders of his people.

No one ever asks a prophet for their opinion.  The whole purpose of the prophet was to speak on behalf of God.  It is God's Word that is important.  So as long as that is what the prophet speaks, everyone is happy.  That's not entirely true.  This Sunday join us as we see some of the intense pressure put on prophets then and now to be silent and not speak for God.  Jesus promises that not everyone will be happy.<br />

Amos 7:10-17 18/7/22 Prophets of Old

Where will you go when the storms of life come crashing down on your head?  That was the question that the disciples found themselves facing.  The answer should have been obvious - Jesus!  He is the one who can calm any of life's storms.  Are you worried?  Are you in a storm?  Come and find peace in the middle of your storm as we worship our God.

Job 38:1-11 18/7/8 Master of Disaster

What does a church of the AI worship?  AI stands for Artificial Intelligence.  While no one in this church would worship anything other than themselves, they are dedicated to the idea of bringing "singularity" to reality.  They say, when machines become smarter than humans, that will be the closest thing to God the world has ever seen.  This Sunday is Trinity Sunday when we remember that our three-in-one God is beyond our understanding and worthy of our worship.  The Trinity is also a great test on whether or not a faith is false. How can there be new life if Jesus isn't with us?  The truth is that even though he has ascended into heaven that doesn't mean that we are left alone.  He promised to send us his Spirit and where ever we gather in his name - there he is!  He is with us even though he is in heaven.

What does it mean to be God's friend?  We bear his name, he makes us part of his family, is there more?  Of course!  This Sunday we explore friendship and our incredible God.

How great is the Father's love for us!  He calls us his children.  And guess what?  That is what we are!  Sound too simple?  On this Good Shepherd's Sunday come at 10 AM and see just how great the love of the Good Shepherd, Jesus, is for you.

Why aren't the disciples dancing the in the streets?!  Jesus lives!  This is true, but there was no peace in their hearts.  At least not right away.  This "Doubting Thomas" Sunday we'll look at doubt and see how our God brings peace.

He lives!  The grave is broken.  Where, O, Death is your victory?  Where, O, Death is your sting?  Most of the time its a bad idea to taunt anyone.  But on Easter Sunday there is nothing that death can do.  Eternal life is a fact.  Eternal life is ours in Jesus.

What is the ten step program that we can use to break our addiction to sin?  There isn't one.  The addiction that we have goes straight down to our soul.  There is no cure.  Only Jesus can change us through a heart transplant.  It's a drastic step, but it's the only one that works!  Want to hear more?  Join us Sunday morning at 10 AM for worship.

Jacob was a man on the run!  He thought he could fix everything his way - being deceptive and tricky was how he got through life.  All it accomplished was for him to run from his brother who wanted him dead.  Did God still love him?  How could he know for sure?  Watch and find out.
