This sermon was preached at Ebenezer Mar Thoma Church, Peroorkada, Trivandrum on 28th March during the Hosanna Holy Communion Service.
The sermon is based on Mark 11:1-11.
We usually talk about the Triumphal Entry, Jesus riding on donkey, The children and the ones standing on the road carrying palm leaves and shouting Hosanna but Mark 11:11 we see the silence of Jesus. Jesus didnt do anything or speak anything.
This is something peculiar which is found only in the Gospel according to St. Mark.
Why was Jesus silent?
