Do not murder. Jews misinterpreted this commandment. This is the first of six interpretations Christ will consider in the Sermon on the Mount.
It is not only against the law to murder. It is also against the law to stay angry with someone. It was a radical idea for all who heard. Jesus explains the commandment - do not murder( Matthew 5: 21-16). It does not mean that you should take pride in living righteous life since you don't murder any. Jesus says that not just action but murderous thought also is a sinful act.
We should be avoiding those actions prompted in anger or because of anger. Anger(selfish anger or unrighteous anger) prompts people to murder, to abuse, to insult others.
So control your anger to avoid the judgement and be reconciled to those far away.
