लैव्यवस्था १९ः३
तुम अपनी अपनी माता और अपने अपने पिता का भय मानना,... मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यावे हूं।
Leviticus 19:3
You shall fear every man his mother, and his father,... I am the LORD your GOD.

इफिसियों ६ः२,३
२.अपनी माता और पिता का आदर कर (यह पहिली आज्ञा है, जिस के साथ प्रतिज्ञा भी है)।
३.कि तेरा भला हो, और तू धरती पर बहुत दिन जीवित रहे।

Ephesians 6:2
2.Honour your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3.That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.
