യേശുവിന്‍റെ പ്രത്യേകതകൾ
1. The Risen Lord gave His physical presence to them which means presence to help others in need of hours. അരുകിലെത്തുന്ന യേശു: ഭൗതീക സാന്നിധ്യം നൽകി. വ്യക്തി ആരാണ് എന്നതിനേക്കാൾ
2. The Risen Lord who walked along with them. He came down to their situations.
ഒപ്പം, ചേർന്നുനടക്കുന്ന യേശു: ഒരു സഹയാത്രികനാകുന്ന യേശു.
ഒന്നാമനായും രണ്ടാമനായും നമ്മോടുകൂടെയുള്ളവൻ

3. The Risen Lord enquires about the cause of their worries. On which subjects are confused with പ്രതിസന്ധി എന്തെന്ന്ചോദിച്ചറിയുന്ന യേശു:
അവരിൽ ക്ലെയോപ്പാവ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളവൻ യേശുവിനു മറുപടി പറയുന്നു. ആരാണ് ഈ ക്ലെയോപ്പാവ് ? Who is this Cleopas?
അവൻ പറയുന്നു: "ദൈവത്തിനും സകലജനത്തിനും മുമ്പാകെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലും വാക്കിലും ശക്തിയുള്ള പ്രവാചകനായിരുന്ന നസറായനായ യേശു..."
മനുഷ്യരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കാതിരിക്കാം പക്ഷെ നാം ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ആരാണെന്നു പറയേണ്ടതായിവരും.
എന്തിനാണ് അവരുടെ കണ്ണ് നിരോധിച്ചത്? To explain what is in the Scripture about Jesus. Jesus in disguise (as a stranger) was able to travel with them without annoying them and able to explain the Prophetical Scripture and prophesies.
The Written Word talks about Jesus Christ
The Written Word talks about THE LIVING WORD, JESUS. The Old Testament is the signpost for us to take a right position to understand the words about the prophesies concerning Jesus and His sufferings (Isaiah 53).
They said with an earnest words to the stranger (Jesus) to stay with them. And He stayed with them.
എത്രദൂരം ക്രിസ്തു അവരോടൊപ്പം യാത്ര ചെയ്തു 7 miles (11Kms.). It was not a matter for Christ about the hours he spent with them or the distance he traveled with them in that journey; He only wanted His people to go back and stay at Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit. The Risen Lord's purpose was here that He was bringing back (collecting) all His disciples to Jerusalem for this rich experience.
And finally we see a great joy among them as they could return to Jerusalem and share their experiences with the fellow disciples. They- Peter and the two- were sharing their experiences about the appearance and interaction with the Risen Lord (Luke 24:34-35). A joyous occasion of their life- a rich experience that they could share their experiences among themselves, and which helped them to stay together and be united in looking for the promise of Jesus about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to happen.
