We continue to analyse Paul's discussion with the Galatians by looking at the flip-side of this morning's message. Paul states that believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, who are the children of the free woman under the allegory he is expounding, are


* Not children born of flesh but of the Spirit
* Not slaves to law but free through the Gospel
* Not persecutors of the truth but persecuted for their beliefs, which is a sign of blessing
* Not heirs of the Lake of Fire but heirs of the Kingdom of God


We are encouraged again to stay close to Christ and not to depend in the slightest degree on our own efforts or merits.
