The Apostles are sent from Jerusalem once they hear how God is blessing the labors of Philip. Through their ministry, Simon's hypocrisy is revealed.

We are all encouraged to seek God for the Holy Spirit in our lives, to make us more useful in His service. We are also cautioned to make sure that our calling and election is sure.
