Some men come down to Antioch from Jerusalem and begin to teach the believers that they must be circumcised in addition to believing on Jesus in order to be saved. We consider:

We are cautioned to reject every temptation to add works to the grace of Christ as a formula for salvation. Nevertheless, we understand that there must be works in the life of every believer - not in order to earn salvation, but as evidence that the person is already saved.
