I கொரிந்தியர் 9:25
பந்தயத்திற்குப் போராடுகிற யாவரும் எல்லாவற்றிலேயும் இச்சையடக்கமாயிருப்பார்கள். அவர்கள் அழிவுள்ள கிரீடத்தைப் பெறும்படிக்கு அப்படிச் செய்கிறார்கள், நாமோ அழிவில்லாத கிரீடத்தைப் பெறும்படிக்கு அப்படிச் செய்கிறோம்.

1Corinthians 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

கொலோசெயர் 3:23-25
23.நீங்கள் கர்த்தராகிய கிறிஸ்துவைச் சேவிக்கிறதினாலே, சுதந்தரமாகிய பலனைக் கர்த்தராலே பெறுவீர்களென்று அறிந்து,
24.எதைச் செய்தாலும், அதை மனுஷர்களுக்கென்று செய்யாமல், கர்த்தருக்கென்றே மனப்பூர்வமாய்ச் செய்யுங்கள்.
25.அநியாயஞ்செய்கிறவன் தான் செய்த அநியாயத்துக்கேற்ற பலனை அடைவான்; பட்சபாதமே இல்லை.

Colossians 3:23-25
23.And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,
 24. knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
 25. But he who does wrong will receive for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality.

பந்தயச் சாலையில் ஓடுகிறவர்களெல்லாரும் ஓடுவார்கள்; ஆகிலும், ஒருவனே பந்தயத்தைப் பெறுவானென்று அறியீர்களா? நீங்கள் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளத்தக்கதாக ஓடுங்கள்.

1Corinthians 9:24
Don’t you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win.

ஆகையால், மேகம்போன்ற இத்தனை திரளான சாட்சிகள் நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்க, பாரமான யாவற்றையும், நம்மைச் சுற்றி நெருங்கி நிற்கிற பாவத்தையும் தள்ளிவிட்டு, விசுவாசத்தைத் துவக்குகிறவரும் முடிக்கிறவருமாயிருக்கிற இயேசுவை நோக்கி, நமக்கு நியமித்திருக்கிற ஓட்டத்தில் பொறுமையோடே ஓடக்கடவோம்;
