Before the fall of mankind in Adam in the garden of Eden, God in His creative acts instituted gender, marriage, and family for the human race. The entrance of sin brought disorder to each of these divine instituted blessings. Redemption in Christ brings back this order, first of all, in salvation - Christ is our Head, our Lord, our authority. Whether male or female Christ is our Head. Redemption also restores order in service. As we serve as "unto the Lord" gender roles and distinctions are not a case for inferiority, but a platform so we can lovingly submit to our respective heads.
