To help my kids memorize I Corinthians 10:12-13, I created a parody of “Mellow Yellow” by Donovan. The text is, "Therefore let anyone who thinks he stands, take heed lest he fall. For no temptation, no matter how it comes or where it leads, has overtaken you that is not common to man—no trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance and such as man can bear. But God is faithful to His word and to His compassionate nature, and He can be trusted not to let you be tempted beyond your ability to resist and power to endure; but with temptation, He will always provide a way out, that you may become more able and capable to stand." Sing the song and you will memorize this verse and reference quickly and easily.
