Morning Verses With Mike
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NLT)
"The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure."

At times, we have all felt like we are the only ones that are going through something. "No one knows how I feel." "No one else is going through this." "WHY ME?!" This verse is a reminder that while we are all unique beings… our experiences are not necessarily unique. Someone else has felt the same way you do. The guy across the street, the girl at your work, those kids at your school - they have all felt those things, experienced similar emotions and gone through the same trials. Stay faithful to the Lord. The verse says He will not simply wipe these frustrations or temptations away - He doesn't remove them. He will show us a way out, an escape through our faith, sometimes it comes through our personal growth, and sometimes He may send us a friend or savior. But He won't tempt you past what your faith will allow.
