If you only read the New Testament, then did you know that you are missing out on more than half of the revelation of who God is? The Old Testament is rich with examples of God’s character; the doctrine of salvation; numerous examples for us to follow as well as many the avoid. In addition, there are over 1,200 prophecies in the Old Testament alone, 26% of our Bible is prophetic. The prophets were a major part of the Old Testament. One of the most exciting things that the prophets predicted was the sufferings and the glory of our Lord, as well as the grace that has come to us.
