Continuing our series on the History of Redemption in Scripture, we consider God's Providence. Scripture tells us that God is sovereign -- that He has planned everything from beginning to end. We see from this account of Mordecai, Esther and Ahasuerus that this is certainly true; that God governs all things for the good of His people (Romans 8:28). We see:
*First, the Lord's remarkable providential deliverance of His people through Mordecai, Esther and Ahasuerus.
*Second, how this should strengthen our resolve to love and serve Him.

We are challenged to trust Jesus to save us (if we have not already done so), and if we have, we are encouraged to take heart from this passage and the wonderful promises God has given to His people.
