We continue to consider the third phase of God's work of redemption (the phase we are in now). We examine Christ's resurrection and His ascension, and see how both of these events were necessary if God's people were to be saved. It is underlined again in the light of these things that there is only one way of salvation, and that this is found in the finished work of Christ alone. Accordingly, all are urged to make sure that they are trusting in Jesus, and not in their own works, for salvation.
