Cancer can grow undetected in our body causing all kinds of physical problems. Likewise idolatry can grow undetected in the believer’s heart causing all kinds of spiritual problems. It is wise for us to ask our Great Physician to give our hearts an idol check, so that if necessary we can remove it and worship God alone.
