Jesus teaches us something very important about His family in this passage. He helps us to see that He has many brothers and sisters and mothers, and shows us who they are.

From this teaching, we look at two things:

First, if you are a true believer you will do God's will. That means you will turn from your sins, trust in Jesus and seek to obey Him in all your life.
Second, if you do God's will, you are a member of His family and that is a very great privilege.
