“Praying for the Persecuted Church”
1. We are not of the world just as Jesus is not of the world.
John 15:18-27
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
2. The persecution of the church began from the very beginning.
Acts 8:1-3
3. Before the end comes, Jesus said that these things will take place.
Luke 21:10-18
But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake. This will be your opportunity to bear witness.

Pray for pastors to be bold witnesses in the face of persecution.
Pray also that the persecution would only serve to spread the Gospel and will others to Christ. Pray for the converts to Christianity that they would remain strong and be assured of the hope of their salvation and that Jesus has prepared a place in heaven for them.
