Jesus continues to teach us what we must do to be faithful with the blessings that He gives. Last time we saw we must not hide our light under a basket. In this message, we see:

* That we must pay attention to the truth Jesus entrusts to us;
* That we must be generous in sharing this truth with others, knowing that the Lord will return to us by the same measure we give to others.

Believers are called upon to offer themselves wholeheartedly to the Lord in His service. Unbelievers are warned by Jesus that they must produce an increase for Him in this world if they would hope to be blessed in the world to come. The only way to do this is to turn from sin and trust Jesus for salvation, before offering ourselves up to Him as living sacrifices.
