Is there anything we have to look forward to in this world as the result of the ongoing subjection of our Lord's enemies? We consider the following:

* The fact that Jesus is reigning now can give us the confidence that everything will work out as God has planned.
* If the Father is indeed systematically subduing Jesus' enemies under His feet, we should be able to have confidence that things will improve dramatically in this world before He returns.

We are urged to be encouraged by these truths and live in the light of them. If Jesus is not yet our King, it is imperative that we submit to Him now in the time of His grace, and not later in the time of His justice.
