We live in a world where many believers have become ashamed to be called or identified as followers of Christ in schools, workplaces, and communities. As a result, they are also ashamed to share their faith with their classmates, officemates, and neighbors. Are you one of those? Have you ever been ashamed of Jesus? Jesus forewarns in Mark 8:38 "If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels." How could anyone be ashamed of following Christ and His words? By not knowing who Christ really is and what He says. To be unashamed, we ought to be disciples of Jesus who will truly follow Him and His words by knowing Christ in the splendor of His glory and in the supremacy of His power.
