In the very last chapter of 2 Chronicles we have verses that talk about God's correcting judgment against the tribes of Judah (and the nation of Israel as a whole). The sad thing is that God sent prophets to warn the people and they were rejected. Even sadder, the people missed the compassion of God from the correction. Today, as Christians, don't think God's correction is devoid of compassion or you won't truly understand who God is and what He is doing.
