In 2 Corinthians 8, Paul introduces the grace of God displayed through sacrificial giving, as Gentile churches respond with love toward the poor saints in Jerusalem. He shows that true generosity is not coerced or competitive, but the fruit of grace, faith, and the example of Christ who became poor so we might become rich.
