2014 Together for the Gospel Conference

John MacArthur preaches primarily from the Gospel of John on the pathology of false disciples, those who “believe” for a while and then fall away for one reason or another. This undeniable reality — that there are unconverted disciples like Judas in our churches even today — should prompt pastors to “evangelize the church.” What does this look like? Being unceasingly being clear about the “words of the gospel,” demonstrating from the Scripture what the life of a genuine disciple of Christ should look like, and ultimately resting in the sovereign purposes of God who loves incorruptibly.
