Then God Himself shut the door to the Ark - it signified permanent separation for Noah and his family from the perishing world's evil ways. And isn't that what happens to truly converted people? They step over a boundary, enter a spacious new place and are transported to a whole new life in Christ. That's exactly what happens.

Now, think a little further. Do they go back? No. The Lord has shut them in. Do they want to go back? No. The Lord has shut them in. To go back would be a return to a dying, corrupt world destined for destruction. If the Lord has indeed shut us in, then we are safe inside the Ark of Salvation, dead to sin and our life is now hidden with Christ in God. Yes! We are crucified to the world and the world is crucified to us!

This is true salvation! What passes for "salvation" in other quarters is for God to judge. But when the Lord shuts us in, we are dead to the world, alive to Christ, and have passed into a newness of life. If you feel in your own soul that God has shut you in and that you are sealed with the pitch-covering of Christ's sacrifice, securing forever your condition, your position, your status and your standing in Christ - Wow! You are blessed indeed!

Welcome, dear friends, to Home Church Langley!
