3 biblical ways to stop thinking about someone.

1. Look at the Facts, Not Your Feelings

You follow what you focus on (Hebrews 12:1-2). If you really feel like someone is the one but the facts are not supporting that feeling, you have to focus more on the facts. This will lead you to eventually stop thinking about this person.

2. Pray for Them for a Season, but Then Stop Praying for Them

You cannot pray too much, but you can pray too much about a certain thing (Matthew 6:7). Ultimately it comes down to the Spirit’s leading in your life. If you sense it’s time to stop thinking about this person, it also means you need to stop praying about this person because our prayers and thoughts are connected.

3. Fill Your Mind With Other Things and Pursue a New Godly Relationship

I’m not talking about a rebound relationship. But if God has put a desire on your heart for a godly relationship, you will always think of that person in your past until you move on and are willing to look for someone new (Romans 12:21).
