The concept of God being sovereign is found throughout the pages of Scripture. Being sovereign means that God is in complete control of everything that happens. Nothing happens without His knowledge or His approval. He alone has supreme authority over all of creation. However, even though God is sovereign, we are not void of our responsibilities in the path that our lives take. We are not simply characters playing out our roles in God's movie. Our choices have consequences to them, yet they do not violate God's sovereignty. This sermon will demonstrate how both God's sovereignty and mans free will work together.
