On behalf of Gideons International I was invited to preach two sermons for two services at UCCP Toril while my partner would give the church reports including a testimony connected to the Gideons ministry.

This is the second sermon of the two (hopefully I can post the other soon) and I preached on such essentials of the gospel as the cross, propitiation, justification by faith alone, assurance and the result of salvation being good works. I was actually very impressed with the service, its hymns and the wonderful prayers from the UCCP pastor. He was a great guy and his service was very God-centered. I was also well received and treated with love. Please pray for UCCP around the Philippines; that the Lord's favor will be with them and the church will be overall gospel-centered.
