As the apostle Peter preaches the good news about Jesus in the house of a Roman Centurion, we peer into the heart of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit for the nations of our world. We are prone to love and embrace people who are like us, and turn away from those who are not. Thankfully, God is not like that, and when we see His love for others, our hearts are shaped to love as He does, and take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all.
