Rev. Trevor Kirkland uses the real Bible to explain the "thousand years" mentioned in Revelation chapter 20. Jesus Christ is King of Kings NOW. The "premillennial" view, which says Jesus will force us all to spend another 1000 years in this sin-scarred world after we have been raptured and glorified, is unscriptural, unappealing, and contrary to his declaration that "my kingdom is not of this world." At the end of this Age, this world is destroyed by fire (a cleansing process), "dissolved: and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." (2 Peter 3:10). Then God will form a new heavens and a new earth Revelation 21:1). The subject however remains controversial and unresolved.
Hear a protestant teacher from Northern Ireland explain the matter from a non-premillennial view using the uncorrupted King James Bible and the historical line of Christian understanding.
