A Nazirite among the people of Israel was someone who made himself especially available to his God, to live only for Him, to serve Him. At that time, God was looking for a willingness of the heart and He is still looking for that today. He likes to awaken and keep alive in us the desire to be totally at His disposal and to serve Him gladly.
