It’s hard to know and understand the will of God if we don’t listen. Thankfully, God has different avenues of communicating with us. Wether it’s through prophets, angels, dreams, visions, prayer, the church or scripture, it is through God’s love that we are given everything we need to, in Rev. Douglas’s words, “not only live but die.” In this week’s sermon, A SETTLED WORD (43 minutes; Psalms 119:89 & Hebrews 1:1) Rev. Douglas speaks of how God “ushers in a new way” of speaking to us. One that’s different than all the ways mentioned above. This entity is categorized as “God’s Final Word To Man.” Phillip the Apostle and Simon the Sorcerer are mentioned as well as Peter and John. As one who was born & raised in the Christian church my entire almost 40 years, I’m not sure why I’ve never thought about God’s Final Word in the way that it’s described in this much needed sermon. Watch! Listen! ‘The Final Word’ you’ll soon learn of is True! It is Pure! It is Eternal. It is SETTLED!
