Our sermon study for today is taken from the Book of Numbers, however, this Old Testament reading fits today’s Gospel reading from St. John like a surgical glove fits a hand, because both texts, in fact even today’s Epistle reading in Ephesians, clearly reveal God’s merciful grace offered to us in His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ!


So, as we study our Old Testament reading today, we will also look at the other readings for a richer understanding of this most magnificent text.
