In this video I address another 'problem' verse that James White alleges in the KJB.
In this case it is Acts 19:2, where the KJB translates the word 'since' while the modern versions use the word 'when'
White complains that this translation is inferior to the modern ones.
However, White is ignorant of the fact that due to the transitional nature of the Book of Acts, one did not immediately receive the Holy Spirit as one does today when one believes.
The Apostles were commanded to go out and lay hands on new Jewish converts to the Gospel of the grace of God and then they received the Holy Spirit
Thus, the dispensational nature of the passage demands that the word 'since' be used and not 'when'.
White regards this answer as being 'convoluted' which only shows his own ignorance of the dispensational nature of the Book of Acts.
