Here in Acts chapter 20 Paul is meeting with the Ephesian elders at Miletus. And he is admonishing them and warning them as they oversee the sheep that God has entrusted to them, the sheep He has purchased with His own blood.

We are going to be looking at in these verses three more points that we can apply to our lives. In Acts 20:22-25 and we will see Paul speak of A LIFE OF SACRIFICE. That is the Christian life, a life surrendered to the Lord. We will also look at in Acts 20:26-28 that these leaders are to SHEPHERD THE FLOCK. And again, the idea here is teaching the sheep the whole counsel of God! And then in Acts 20:29-31 Paul tells these leaders to PROTECT THE SHEEP. Yes we are to teach the sheep the Word of God, we are to love the sheep and we are also to warn the sheep of the dangers that are out there! Some powerful lessons we can learn from.
