Morning Verses With Mike
Acts of the Apostles 1:7 (NLT)
"He replied, “The Father alone has the authority to set those dates and times, and they are not for you to know."

Waiting is one of the most difficult things that God makes us do. And in life… you will wait. People in the bible had to wait.
(I'll share this picture below… and you may have seen it.)
• Joseph waited and suffered 13 years of trials, pain, and jail
• Abraham waited 25 years for a son.
• Moses waited for 40 years in the wilderness
• Jesus waited 30 years, to begin ministry.

So, if you are being asked to wait right now… you're in good, righteous, and respectable company.

In the moment people find it very difficult to slow down. They don't want to wait, because if we can get information in the blink of an eye, we live in a cell phone, right now society… why can we not have other things so quickly? There is an expectation of receiving right away, and often before we are ready for the rest of the outcome. There is something to be gained by allowing for the fullness of time.

We must learn patience and trust in God to reveal to us the timeline. When we learn patience we are far better off in the end.

You can never out-experience someone who got there before you. Learning and growth take place over time. So today, Let go, and let God… and know that there is a perfect calendar laid out for you.
