It’s easy to preach sermons that place a guilt trip on you by measuring your spiritual growth and impact by the degree of sacrifice and suffering you experience for the sake of the gospel. The more it hurts the more godly it is! Right!?! But I think we like to make more of the cost because we like to make more of ourselves than we ought to.
