Are you struggling this Christmas? If you aren't, I think you must be in the minority this year. Christmas is a difficult season for many people in normal times. Add the many stresses of 2020, and it just becomes all the more difficult.

One of the beauties of the season of Advent is that it acknowledges the darkness of our very real and difficult circumstances. We focus on hope, peace, joy, and love not because everything is wonderful, but because there is so much that isn't. Advent arises out of struggle.
